My brother-in-law (a new Christian) and I were flipping through channels, and we came upon the Gaithers, who had a special guest group on. They all had mullets. They were called "The Mullens." We had trouble with that and actually had to watch them briefly.
Wow! Lordy, Lordy. Wow! I showed my husband the one you posted by Joel McHale and he said, "Well...it does make you laugh. Maybe that's the whole point??" I said, "Uh...that's the Soup's audience laughing AT them." "Oh." It was great to meat you at Mariners. So fun that you knew Betsy Wilson AND that you live in the town next to mine. My friend that was with me at the Mariner's event said, "Now that's a gal I could be friends with." I agree. Love your spirit and humor. Best wishes on your tour in Oregon.

you can't unsee something like that.
that's so wrong in so many ways. Tell me this was made in 1986.
The only thing I can tell you is "the Way" is a kind of sect. Which means they might be stuck in 1986?
I need to wash my brain out now.
I like the Poker Face version though.

I hope this isn't one of the groups you mention in your new book...
Ha, well as "The Way" is a cult, I will leave that for "Freaky Conversations with God: Cults, sects and wackadoos."
