Interesting interview! It made me think about the line in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, when the children ask if Aslan is safe, and Mr. Beaver says, "Safe? Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good." Goodness doesn't equal safe or happy. Goodness is on a whole different level that I think we struggle to understand.
