Yes, they are certainly pointed at one sex or another. Does that make it sexist, or just marketing? My favorites, the AX bodyspray commercials where the guys practically get. . . um, "served" in the shower by a woman who pops up out of nowhere. And the antidepressant add with the little wind up woman. That one scares me.
